Efficient and Precise Operations at Elevated Heights
The autonomous R-Matic reach truck is adept at transporting, storing, and retrieving goods weighing up to 1.6 tonnes at heights exceeding 11 meters. This versatility makes it particularly well-suited for tasks involving medium to high lift heights, including supplying workstations and material transportation within warehouses.
Equipped with an innovative 3D camera, the R-Matic accurately identifies storage locations within racks and the pallet openings, allowing it to precisely store and retrieve loads by adjusting its forks accordingly.
Notably, the truck's geonavigation system functions independently, eliminating the need for additional infrastructure, and it safely and efficiently interacts with individuals, non-automated trucks, conveyor belts, and packing stations.
For added flexibility, the R-MATIC can also be manually controlled through the Dual Mode, catering to diverse operational needs.
- Truck detects its surroundings using sensors. If the 2D curtain laser system identifies an obstacle, the truck reduces its speed and, if necessary, stops.
- Uses an innovative 3D camera and a laser to detect pallet openings and loads, and to store and retrieve them precisely at high lift heights.
- Dynamic Mast Control (DMC) operator assistance system also balances mast movements with targeted countermovements.
- Geonavigation does not require any additional infrastructure.
- 3D camera makes handling loads at high lift heights of up to more than 11 metres can take place precisely and efficiently.
- Truck is especially suited to autonomous storage and retrieval of pallets at medium-high lift heights, and supplying workstations with necessary parts or goods.
- Option available for loads to be identified via a barcode or RFID scanner.
- Can import the data read into your business’ ERP and warehouse systems.
- Geonavigation without additional infrastructure makes it easy, quick and seamless to integrate the R-Matic into intralogistics processes.
- Truck data from the R-Matic can be read out and analysed using a service laptop.
- All the electronic service components are also easily accessible.
- Maintenance-free AC motor developed by Linde ensures that work is not interrupted due to downtime.
